After watching the video secretly filmed by Aliye, Ceylan begins to grow increasingly suspicious about Sema’s involvement in Salih’s death. Although the footage raises serious doubts, Ceylan cannot figure out who the second person in the conversation is, since Emir does not appear in the frame at all. An important detail is that the video was recorded on Nadire’s phone, making it impossible for Karan to see it, so Ceylan asks Ayse to send the video to her own phone.
Meanwhile, Mustafa strongly opposes the idea of Ferit becoming Leyla’s business partner in the café. He believes the collaboration is inappropriate and tries to stop it. However, Gonca firmly intervenes and tells Mustafa that if he does not agree with Ferit helping them, he is free to leave their house. Although Leyla is happy that Ferit wants to support her and appreciates his gesture, she tells him she needs time to think carefully before making a final decision.
At the same time, Emir begins to pressure Sema more and more, demanding that she transfer the shares she owns in the company to him. He directly threatens her, saying that if his plan does not go as intended, she will suffer alongside him and be dragged down by his downfall.
Tensions also rise between Sema and Karan. She reproaches him for going on a picnic with Ceylan and Aliye and, moreover, for still refusing to wear his wedding ring. Karan responds that Aliye is extremely important to him and that he is willing to do anything to see her happy. Sema tells him he is free to do as he wishes, but asks him not to ignore her anymore and to give her the attention she deserves. Karan assures her that he knows his responsibilities very well and has not forgotten the promise he made—to take care of her for the rest of his life. In his view, he has done nothing to hurt her pride or dignity.
Suspicious and determined to uncover the truth, Ceylan starts following Sema and catches her writing in a personal journal. Convinced that the journal might contain crucial information about what really happened, Ceylan begins to think of a plan to get hold of it and read it.
Ferit goes to the hospital to visit Halil and tells him about his plan to buy a café together with Leyla and run it as partners. Halil reacts angrily, asking where Leyla got so much money. Ferit explains that Leyla claims she took out a loan, but he is not convinced and has asked Gulsen to verify whether that is true. Halil expresses his suspicion that the money actually comes from the jewelry that was stolen from him. Ferit assures him he will find out the truth. Shortly after, Leyla learns that Halil is hospitalized and comes to see him, but Ferit manages to hide before she notices him. Halil refuses to speak with Leyla, and she leaves deeply hurt and upset.
Later, Leyla meets Ferit in the park and tells him about her visit to the hospital, saying that Halil is still very angry with her. Wanting to earn money and repay her debt to Halil, Leyla realizes she needs to take concrete action. She decides to accept Ferit’s proposal and become his business partner, planning to buy the café together.
Meanwhile, Sema realizes that Ceylan suspects her and that she has entered her room. As a precaution, she hides her journal in a safe place and, before leaving, locks her room to avoid any further unpleasant surprises.
In the end, Ceylan manages to show Karan the video filmed by Aliye. However, Sema once again proves to be prepared and quickly comes up with a convincing excuse, managing to get out of the delicate situation once more. Kudret, extremely annoyed by Ceylan’s persistence and accusations, tells her that that very evening she will fulfill the role for which she is in that house, after which she will leave the mansion and their lives forever.
