Emir finds Ceylan in the village where Orhan had abandoned her and rushes her to the hospital. He then informs Karan, who arrives there together with Sema. When asked how he managed to find her, Emir lies to Karan, claiming he fought two men to save Ceylan and pretends to be seriously injured. In reality, before arriving at the hospital, he deliberately hurt himself to make his story more convincing. Grateful, Karan invites Emir to move into the mansion, where he will receive care, considering him part of the Celickan family.
This is exactly the opportunity Emir had been waiting for, as he had long wanted to gain access to the mansion. Now, seen as a hero by Karan, he hopes it will be easier to secure his share of the family fortune. In addition, Emir is secretly in love with Ceylan and plans to protect her, win her love, and turn her against Karan.
Ceylan still has to remain hospitalized for one more day, and Karan stays by her side. When Sema insists that they go home together, Karan sends her back with Emir.
After Ceylan wakes up, Karan confronts her about leaving the mansion with Aliye. She tells him the truth: she received messages from Meltem, took Aliye to the indicated place believing Meltem would be there so Aliye could see her, and planned to return to the mansion afterward. Karan does not believe her and threatens that she will pay for what she has done.
Later, Karan tells Orhan that after being discharged, Ceylan should be taken to one of their houses in the village, where she will stay.
At that moment, Karan receives a call from Ayse, who tells him that Aliye wants to speak with him. Aliye confirms the same version of events, identical to what Ceylan said. Moreover, Ayse adds that if Ceylan had truly wanted to run away, she would have at least taken the necklace she received from Artem or some personal belongings. This conversation makes Karan begin to have doubts.
