At Kudret’s insistence, Karan is forced to have dinner with Sema, just the two of them, alone in the mansion’s large dining room. The atmosphere is cold and tense, but Sema sees this as a special moment and hopes that, at last, Karan will make a gesture showing he truly accepts her as his wife—especially by putting his wedding ring on his finger.
During dinner, Sema brings up the subject and tells Karan directly that since they are married, it would be normal for him to wear his wedding ring, just as she does. Karan takes the ring in his hand and explains that, for him, it is not just a simple symbol, but represents a very serious promise: to be with someone for life and never break that promise, no matter the circumstances. However, he clearly tells her he is not ready to take that step now and that he will wear the ring only when he feels the time is right. After saying this, he puts the ring back in the box, hands it to Sema, coldly says “good night, sister-in-law,” and leaves the room.
Sema is left deeply disappointed and hurt. She breaks down emotionally and begins to cry, realizing that Karan remains distant and continues to treat her as his sister-in-law rather than his wife. In that moment, she painfully understands that he will never truly accept her in this role.
Meanwhile, Ceylan had come downstairs and, unintentionally, overheard only the first part of the conversation, in which Karan said he would wear the ring. Without hearing the rest, she misinterprets the situation and, deeply affected, returns to her room without being noticed.
Later, Karan finds Ceylan unconscious in her room. Worried, he asks Ayse whether Ceylan is eating enough. Ayse tells him the truth: Kudret does not allow her to bring Ceylan food. Furious, Karan has a harsh confrontation with Kudret, after which he asks Nadire to immediately prepare food for Ceylan and stay with her until he is sure she eats.
The next morning, Aliye suggests that the three of them—Karan, Ceylan, and herself—have breakfast together in the garden. Karan agrees. Later, Can, Karan’s friend, points out that he behaves very closely with Ceylan and that they are getting along better and better. Karan denies it and says that Ceylan means nothing to him and that he keeps her in the mansion only for revenge. However, Can is not convinced and tells him he believes Ceylan is innocent and a good person. He also warns him that, no matter how much he denies it, it is obvious he still has feelings for her.
Elsewhere, Leyla wants to open a café but does not have all the necessary funds. Ferit learns about her plans and decides to help her. Without Leyla knowing, he buys the other half of the café and becomes her partner. When Leyla finds out the truth, she is overjoyed by the surprise.
Meanwhile, Karan teaches Aliye how to take photos and videos with a phone. The little girl first films outside, then goes inside and, without realizing it, captures Sema and Emir talking in the hallway. They discuss that although Salih has died, things are not resolved and that Karan and Ceylan must never find out their big secret. Aliye records them without their knowledge.
Later, Aliye shows the recording to Ceylan. After seeing and hearing everything, Ceylan is shocked and deeply stunned by what she discovers.
