Kudret asks Karan whether he tried so hard to prove Ceylan’s innocence because he still has feelings for her. Their conversation is interrupted by a phone call from Can. Even though Karan doesn’t give a clear answer, Kudret suspects this is the reason and begins to take action. Later, she tells Karan that the mourning period after Salih’s funeral has passed and that the time is approaching for him to make his marriage to Sema public. He agrees to start making the necessary preparations. Karan refuses to admit that he loves Ceylan and wants to prove it—even to himself.
Emir meets Ceylan in the garden, and they have a short conversation. She thanks him again for saving her and asks why he didn’t give up searching for her like Karan did. Emir replies that he wanted to help her because she is like him—treated unfairly by those in the mansion, just as he is. He also tells her that he believes she is innocent and is being wronged.
Karan is bothered seeing Emir talking to Ceylan. He tells Emir to leave her alone and focus on recovering so he can return home and to work as soon as possible.
Later, Sema asks Karan when they can go look for a venue for their wedding celebration. He suggests they search online right then. Ceylan feels sad when she sees them being so close. Sema, however, is pleased, as she has the chance to show Ceylan her place.
