Cihan watches them leave and sets off after them, along with Kaya and Sahin. He catches up with them, sends Deniz home in another car, and tries to talk to Alya. Desperate, she pulls out a gun and threatens to shoot him if he doesn’t bring her son back. Cihan tries to take the gun, but it accidentally discharges and he is wounded. Cihan refuses to go to the hospital so that Alya won’t get in trouble. They return home and call a doctor, but he can’t get there in time. Being a doctor, Alya is forced to operate on him herself. After this incident, her mother-in-law is even more hostile towards Alya and now has a trump card: if she tries to run away with Deniz again, her mother-in-law will report her to the police, saying that she is the one who shot Cihan.

He invites her for coffee to talk and, during the conversation, reveals the truth that the family had hidden from her until then. Boran, her husband, killed the head of the Baybars family, which was the real reason why he had to flee to Canada.
After learning her husband’s big secret, Alya is deeply shaken and goes to Boran’s grave, where she collapses under the weight of the truth. Cihan follows her and tells her the whole story of the feud, explaining that it all started because of the Baybars family. Alya cannot understand how Boran asked her to come to Mardin, knowing full well the danger they would be exposed to. Outraged, she tells her brothers-in-law and mother-in-law that she will not allow Deniz to stay there and become like them, trapped in a world of revenge and harsh traditions.
But, in addition to all the obstacles standing in his way, a new problem arises: Deniz begins to become attached to his father’s family and expresses his desire to stay in Mardin. Unexpectedly, Izzet calls Alya and tells her that he has changed his mind. He cannot leave her and Deniz there and has come up with a plan to escape. Hope is reborn in Alya’s heart, but Cihan overhears her talking on the phone to her boss, asking him to extend her leave by a few days. At that moment, Cihan understands that Alya is planning to leave again. As a result, he gives Deniz a phone, telling her to hide it and call him if she is ever in danger or needs help.
In parallel, Nare’s story is revealed. She and Şahin have been in love for many years, but due to their families, they could not be together. Rebelling, Nare married Ozkan, another man who was not accepted by her family. On the other hand, we learn that Cihan has a girlfriend in Mardin, Mine. The woman is divorced and has a child. Although she would have hoped for marriage, she knows that Cihan’s family will never accept her as a daughter-in-law. Cihan has always told her that their relationship has no future. When a transport truck belonging to the Albora family is attacked by their enemies, chaos sets in at the mansion. All family members head to the scene of the incident, leaving the house almost empty. Taking advantage of this situation and with the help of Nare, Alya manages to escape with Deniz. However, upon reaching the meeting place agreed with Izzet, she finds herself face to face with Demir Baybars.
Thanks to the phone that Cihan gave to Deniz, in which he installed a tracking app, he manages to locate them in time and arrive before a tragedy occurs. During the confrontation, Demir reveals that the truth is much more complex than Ayla was told. After Boran killed his uncle, the Albora and Baybars families reached an agreement to avoid further bloodshed in the name of revenge. According to the agreement, Cihan was forced to marry the daughter of the Baybars family. However, the woman and Demir loved each other and had plans for a future together. A year after the marriage, she died, and since then Demir hates the Albora family and wants to make them suffer by kidnapping someone dear to them. Now, that someone is Deniz.
After this second attempt to leave, Alya’s mother-in-law completely changes her attitude and no longer allows her to stay at the mansion.
